Web Site Maintenance Plans (Monthly Retainers)

In business since 2000, we're proud to report that we've been maintaining sites for several of our clients since our inception, and a great many of our clients have been working with us for five years or more.

We offer several levels of monthly retainers to provide an economical approach to budgeting for website updates, flattening your monthly website budget while allowing for the right amount of service.

What is the turnaround time for website updates?

  • Content (text & image) updates are generally completed within two business days, same day when possible. For longer or more involved updates (generally speaking any single update that will require more than two hours of work), a time and budget estimate may be provided.

What is a retainer?

  • A retainer is a prepaid monthly amount that we draw down against.  It is based on an estimate of how much work you will require on average on a monthly basis.  We invoice at the beginning of the month and allocate the work peformed to the amount paid.  We have several suggested retainer levels (ie 1hr/month, 4 hrs/month, 10 hrs/month, etc.) and offer percentage discounts off of our standard hourly rates at the different levels.

How will I know how much work is done in a month?

  • Each month's invoice will be accompanied by a report of work that was performed in the previous month, which will be compiled from your requests made by email, telephone, or by other means.

What if we use less time then is provided for in our maintenance plan level?

  • If less work is performed in a month then is provided for in the plan (ie the plan allows for 10 hours/month, but only 8 are used), the excess funds remain on account to be applied to future updates.
  • Every 3 - 6 months we'll re-evaluate the monthly amount together to determine if it still meets your maintenance requirements.

What if we use more time then is provided for in our maintenance plan level?

  • Up to 2X the monthly retainer will be carried forward to applied to future months where less time might be required.
  • More than 2X the monthly retainer will be billed by separate invoice at the end of the month.
  • Every 3 - 6 months we'll re-evaluate the monthly plan together to determine if it still meets your maintenance requirements.
